What does it mean to write every day, and earn online?

Someone asked me, or was it just my mind asking me, how you can write every day and earn something. In fact, the question began as an inquiry. Someone asked, how comes you can type on your laptop without looking on the keyboard?

I forgot to tell you this, I write all the time. I get paid for about 10 percent of what I write. Agh!

I think that is what you would call freelance writing.
