THE AFRICA WRECKING US DOLLAR $

Ah, Kenya, the land of unfulfilled promises and broken dreams. Remember when we thought we were on the cusp of becoming an economic powerhouse in the 1990s? Yeah, turns out that was just a pipe dream.

As the dollar continues to grow stronger, Kenya is left in the dust, quite literally. The speed at which our currency is losing value is akin to the pesh pesh dust in the WRC Safari Rally. And we're not alone in our misery - Ghana and Egypt are right there with us.

And if you thought things couldn't get any worse, think again. Our neighbors in Tanzania are laughing at us as we beg for a six month guarantee to buy oil on credit. How humiliating is that?

So much for our dreams of economic growth and prosperity. At this rate, we'll be lucky if we can afford to buy a loaf of bread in a few years' time. Thanks for nothing, Kenyan economy.
